The Haori (羽織) is a traditional Japanese jacket typically worn over a Kimono. Japan Blue has reinterpreted the classic Haori, adapting it for a casual open look that pairs incredibly well with a white t-shirt and jeans. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this jacket features a distinctive Sashiko pattern, adding texture and uniqueness to the fabric. This fabric was traditionally used for crafting sturdy garments such as budo clothes and attire for Japanese firefighters before the emergence of technical fabrics. The indigo color, achieved through rope dyeing, not only provides a deep and rich hue but also promises to age gracefully over time, acquiring unique fades with each wear and wash.
The Haori features a loose, oversized cut and it comes in one size. One size fits all. The sleeves measure 52cm (approximately 20.5inch), and the length measured from the back is 74.5cm (approximately 29.3 inch).
